In season 2 episode 1 of Cow Review, Josh opens the video by apologising for and explaining the reason behind the 9 month hiatus between the first and second season of Cow Review. He states "Sorry for the absence over the last 9 months, I have been trying to sort out some issues regarding Operation M-00”.

It appears that we finally have a title to attach to Josh’s activities. Operation M-00 must be the codename for whatever plan Josh is conducting here on behalf of his homeland. If so, what we know about the operation is that the Shadow Cows, which were sent here from the same place Josh came from, are “doing their job successfully”, whatever that job may be. Given the use of digits in this codename, one has to wonder whether further iterations are planned. Is there a possibility of an Operation M-01? M-02? Even M-03??? The room for double digits imply that there could be plans for up to 99 more iterations.

Unlike the previous two references of similar nature, one of which was at the back of an episode, and the other hidden in a separate video, this information is very directly spoken to the audience of Cow Review as if we understand what it means. I’m now beginning to question whether Cow Review in its entirety is even made for us, or if the whole thing was created for whoever is back at Josh’s homeland. But it can’t be that simple, because if so, there would be no reason for mention of the Shadow Cows to be so much more secretive in its delivery.
