In season 1 episode 7 of Cow Review, a hidden message played after the review that could be decoded by reversing the audio. The result of this process is Josh himself proclaiming "This is a message to my homeland: Earth seems to be the perfect climate for what we are looking for, and the cows we sent down are doing their job successfully".

Mikey's interpretation
This message plainly indicates that Josh does not originate from our Earth. This originally led me to believe that he could be some kind of alien being, but upon reflection I came to doubt that hypothesis. Everyone knows that aliens abduct cows, it’s been depicted countless times, but as Josh goes on to explain, his kind are instead depositing cows on Earth, which is completely backwards. This makes their intentions very hard to decipher, but it’s clear from his language that they are setting up some kind of cows-related scheme with our homeland as their target. What’s also clear is that their plan is unfolding as intended.
The inclusion of this message at the end of a publicly available episode of Cow Review implies that although able to monitor Josh’s activity in some capacity (being able to view the video), his homeland has no direct line of communication with him. Given that the transmission is spoken in plain English, it also means that they can understand our language. Perhaps the inhabitants of his homeland are not so different from you and I, which makes it all the more strange that the way this message is encrypted is so remarkably simple and easy to crack. Do they want us to know? Are they simply so confident in their plan that they’re taunting us?
